I'M ENGAGED!!!

Alright, alright.  I guess I will tell the story, if you REALLY want to know.

I spent my Thanksgiving break away from home this year.  It was the first time I haven't been with my family, which was kinda weird.  I spent my Thanksgiving break with my boyfriend and his family.  In Alabama.  And, let me tell you, it was a GREAT time!  I met his family, and they were pretty great.  I absolutely love them.

Anyways, moving on.  Last Tuesday, he was driving me around Alabama, and showing me different places and telling me memories from his teen years.  We went to DeSoto Falls, and it started to rain.  As we were looking at the falls, Ryan was holding me, and he started talking about all the places we have been to together, and all the things that we have already gone through, and how it has been a great journey.  I will let you know, I did NOT see this next part coming.  He said that there was only one thing left to do in order to keep the journey going.  I said, "Yep!", then continued to just look at the falls.  Then Ryan said, "And it's to do this."  Then he got on one knee, and asked me to marry him.  Of COURSE I said YES!

Waterfalls, rain, and a proposal.  It was perfect for me.

Man, do I love this boy. :]   And I am so excited to spend the rest of eternity with him.<3

Starting on November 18, 2011 at 12:10 AM...

I will be having a WONDERFUL time!

Breaking Dawn midnight premier with Trishy.  A girl date. :]
Drive down to Utah Friday afternoon.
Leave Saturday morning to go to ALABAMA!
Spend a week with my amazing boyfriend!
Thanksgiving with his family. :]

All in all, I think I will have an amazing time. :]

Connolly and Moon.  They are two of the Elders that served in our ward, and helped Malcolm choose to serve a mission for the church.  They both recently returned home, and decided to come up and visit.  I will forever be grateful for them. :]

This day will be the day where I will be the most tired I have been this semester.

Today was the best day.

I got the strongest feeling that I was whole.  That I was clean.  That I was pure.  That I was forgiven.  On top of that, I got the strongest feeling that I needed to move forward with everything I have been planning over the last few weeks, because that is what the Lord wanted for me, and He approves of everything.  Because of that, I will move forward with everything I have planned when I have them planned.

And I am SO excited!

Can I be a bit lovey-dovey?

This is Ryan.  He's my boyfriend.  I feel SO lucky to be able to say that!

He's from Alabama.  Yep, a Southern boy.  Although he doesn't talk with his Southern accent... Which makes me sad, but I understand why he doesn't.

He has brown hair and blue eyes, which is the perfect combination, to me at least. :]

We have been dating for close to six months now, and I can't believe that it has been that long already!  But, I also can't wait to see what is in store. :]

Can I be 100% honest with everyone? 

I freaking love this boy.

Like, for reals.

More than anyone else before.

More than I thought I could love anyone.

And the reason why I feel so lucky to be able to say that is because there was a time when I felt that would never happen to me.

And look.

It did.

And I have never been happier.

This is Ryan, and I love him more than anything.  And I am so glad he loves me, even with all my quirks and random things I like.

He knows EVERYTHING about me... And loves me, just the same.

And I am so grateful
