Perfection

“Why do you have to finish the race of life in a set time? Why not just run the race?”

I was reading the Ensign, which is a church magazine that we have, and it had this story about a woman who tried to complete everything perfectly. She couldn't finish her mission because of medical issues, couldn't finish school because of the same thing, and thought it wasn't good for her. Then, a friend told her the line that started this blog off.

There truly is no set time for life. Why rush everything through? You honestly don't know what life will bring you, and where life will take you. So enjoy every rain drop, smell every flower, watch the sunsets, make new friends, and try to laugh and smile everyday.

Trust me, if you start to go slowly and try to finish things to the best of your ability, instead of perfectly, your life will be better than ever before.
